UPBirders.org is a Web community created in November 2004. Its purpose is:

1) to facilitate communication between wild bird enthusiasts who enjoy birding in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

2) to support the Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society of Marquette and Alger Counties and all other U.P. bird clubs and organizations.

A public email list is available for discussion of bird sightings and other bird-related topics. There are no facilities available for posting sightings on the UPBirders site. If you want to share your bird sightings, please join the email list or email them to the administrator.

Contributions of content from individuals and bird clubs are welcome.
